Located in the heart of Peregian Beach, the iconic Peregian Beach Hotel stands as a cornerstone food and beverage destination for the local community and visitors alike. Our design reimagines key interior spaces to create a layered and immersive hospitality experience that honours its coastal identity while elevating its social energy.

At ground level, we redesigned the point of sale upon entry, establishing a clear and confident arrival moment that improves functionality while enhancing the guest journey. We also introduced custom booth seating that elegantly wraps within the footprint of the existing circular staircase — transforming a transitional architectural element into an intimate and highly functional social zone. This sculptural integration enhances flow while creating a distinctive focal point within the venue.

Upstairs, we designed three unique yet connected spaces, each with its own personality. The central bar is defined by punchy, confident colour and serves as the visual and social centrepiece of the level. Adjacent, the Mezz Bar area delivers high-impact energy, featuring custom high tables with uniquely detailed bases, bespoke powder coating, and custom-coloured concrete tops designed to align seamlessly with the bar finish. The space is elevated further by statement wallpaper created by local artist Cass Deller, adding a bold, artistic layer that grounds the design in local creativity.

A striking stone water feature anchors the interior, framed by a soft architectural arch and enhanced with integrated LED lighting. The gentle movement of water paired with subtle illumination introduces texture, ambience, and a sense of calm sophistication that balances the venue’s vibrant atmosphere.

Toward the front of the upper level, the atmosphere softens into a more family-oriented zone, with comfortable booth seating and lower loose furniture that encourage relaxed dining and conversation. Together, these spaces create a dynamic yet cohesive hospitality environment balancing vibrancy, artistry, and comfort within a contemporary coastal setting.
